Why we're building this
Software does the arithmetic. Actuaries keep the judgment.
Much of the pension industry still depends on desktop software built decades ago. Those tools work, but they come with installs, license files, and data spread across drives and machines.
Equaplan brings that work into the browser. We started with Solo Cash Balance + 401(k) plans, covering proposals, funding valuations, reports, and Schedule SB, and we're building from there with input from the actuaries who use it.
We believe software should do the arithmetic and keep the record, while credentialed actuaries keep the judgment.
